Peripheries of reflection
JOSÉ SOBERANES

I started looking for resources, places and reasons for interpreting experiences and fond memories in places, making field recordings and digital processes in order to achieve a composition dedicated to two people as the final result. They used to enjoy and spend pleasant moments with your loved ones.
Thanks a lot to my good friend and colleague Samantha Castrillón for the support in the photographic art, David Vélez, Juan José Calarco, James McDougall & Pedro Leitâo (Impulsive Habitat curators) for the trust in my project and makes this come true.
These compositions are dedicated to my grandmother María Esquivel and my brother René Soberanes.
Rest in peace dear companions of life. My deeply respect for you.
All tracks Recorded & Composed by José Soberanes, in Tula Hidalgo, México from 2011 to 2013.
