Barcelona is a city full of contradictions and Jan Kees-Helms tried to catch these different
atmospheres in one sound-collage. He stayed for almost one week in October 2011 in this Catallán
city and he was surprised by all these alternate elements of city life. He recorded
the sounds which
touched his ears. Back home he composed all these field-recordings and combined opposite
backgrounds to one piece in its purity without any filter. |

Uno de los últimos lanzamientos de Impulsive Habitat es este Barcelona, composición de diez minutos a cargo de Jan Kees-Helms. Este holandes pasó una semana en Barcelona durante el octubre de 2011 y aquí podemos escuchar este pequeño recuerdo sonoro de lo que pasó por sus orejas durante esos dias. Se trata de una composición donde las gravaciones se superponen en diferentes capas, pero limpias, sin filtros ni efectos. Un pequeño collage de sonidos de Barcelona, tal vez un poco atropellado en algunos momentos.
